This project was an innovative build using Velox boards to create the external walls which were then filled with concrete. This type of type of build was selected by the client and main contractor due to its insulating properties and speed of install, it also gave the architects unrestricted design to capture the variant of shapes throughout the build. This type of build also gave us an opportunity to run containment within the fabric of the building before the concrete was poured to speed up our electrical install

The overall feel of the project was to create a cosy living space without detracting from the striking features of the build, like the large glass sliding doors at the rear of the property to bring the outside in.
The electrical install comprised of over 10,000 meters of cable to turn the property into a smart home, inclusive of smart glass, plaster in speakers in every room, app controlled smart lighting and heating controls. The app developed for this property was completely bespoke and was tailored to the client’s needs incorporating Lutron, control 4 and Heatmiser

The overall finish needed to be of a remarkably high standard, comprising of John Cullens lighting, Collingwood, Focus SB, Astro, GAP lighting, Waterworks, Davey lighting

One of the challenges we were tasked with was to create an entirely bespoke light fitting consisting of 18 pendant drops all varying heights. This involved designing and manufacturing a metal plate that would support the weight of the 18 globes at the end of the pendants each weighing 5kilos, but also would seamlessly blend into the ceiling finish
